The F.8 is considered to be the most elegant and mature version of the Meteor family. When building this model you will literally feel the evolution from propeller plane to jet. The lines are classic, but the nacelles on the wings reveal the new power. Since this is a "conversion" based on new tool shapes, you can rely on contemporary detailing.

You have full creative freedom in this project. Use the open engine display option to create a maintenance diorama, or build the Meteor ready for takeoff with the pilot in the cockpit. The included markings for the Australian 77th Squadron also offer the exciting option of depicting a machine from the Korean War - a very historically interesting scenario for your shelf.
