Revell 3749 1/32 Messerschmitt Me 262A-1a/U4

Plastic Model Kits
Aircraft 1/32 Scale
The Messerschmitt Me262 made history as the world's first operational jet fighter. But this special variant takes the myth one step further. With the Me262A-1a/U4 kit you get one of the most extraordinary experimental designs of the Second World War on your craft table. The special thing about this model in the impressive 1:32 scale is the armament: instead of the usual four machine cannons, the barrel of a huge 50 mm cannon protrudes from the nose. Thanks to new components (“New Tools”), you can now precisely recreate this rare version.

Why this kit is a highlight for experts:
Unique silhouette: The U4 variant differs significantly from the standard Me262 due to the distinctive bulge on the bow and the protruding gun barrel.
New tools: This kit is based on the proven Me262 model, but has been expanded to include specially newly developed parts for the bow section and the cannon.
Large scale: In 1:32, the aerodynamic lines of the "Schwalbe" design and the technical details come into their own. Length 39.8cm
Challenge Level 5: With 220 individual parts, this model is a challenging project that requires experience in gluing and painting as well as patience.
Detailing: Look forward to a finely crafted cockpit, detailed Jumo engines and an authentic chassis.

Building the Me262A-1a/U4 is a technical voyage of discovery. You'll see how the engineers tried to integrate a heavy tank gun (the MK 214 A) into a delicate airframe. The precision fit of the new parts ensures that the modified nose fits seamlessly into the fuselage. The finished model is a real exotic addition to any collection of World War II aircraft and impressively demonstrates the "miracle weapon" belief of the time.

Note *** Plastic Model Kits do not come with Glue & Paints unless stated otherwise.
