The third part of the monograph on the Curtiss P-40 discusses the development and construction of the F, L, K, M, N and XP-40Q variants. Each variant is specified and comprehensively described with coverage of changes made in its sub-variants. A large chapter is devoted to the Warhawk’s combat service in the Mediterranean Theatre of Operations. The book contains many lists of the U.S. and foreign units equipped with various P-40 variants, most succesful pilots and technical data of the key P-40 variants and engines. English text, 108 pages, 100 photos, 16 sheets of 1:48 and 1:72 scale drawings, which include specification of external changes in production-run versions of the aircraft, 5 pages of colour charts with 5 examples of camouflage schemes.
