You will find us at many of the IPMS shows around the country and the larger Airshows.
You are more than welcome to collect orders placed online or over the phone in person but we are not a "walk around" shop.

We are always adding a selection of second-hand items including Plastic Model Kits, Decals, Books etc to the website but often they are sold quickly and then removed from the website. So if you do not see what you want today please check back every now and again as we never know when or what we will have arriving next.

You can collect your order from any show, just select collect during checkout and in the comments box say which show (usually must be ordered before midnight on the Thursday before but please see message on website the week of the show)
We take a selection of new and second-hand model kits to all shows.

UK Delivery
Postage costs and options are viewable at the bottom of your shopping cart before and at checkout.
For orders over £35.00 delivery is free to UK Mainland addresses.
For Highland and Island addresses there may be a flat rate charge of £14.00 for parcels that have to go by Parcelforce

Orders are shipped within 1 working day and often same day.

Collection
Orders for collection from the warehouse are ready within a hour during working hours.

For show collection orders - please put in the comments from which show you would like to collect.

Payment Options

We accept payment by Debit/Credit card and PayPal.

Paying by Debit/Credit Card
PayPal process the payment card for us (like any other card provider such as Global Payments).
When you come to pay, the checkout will take you to the PayPal payment page and further down the page is the option to pay by credit card and pay as a guest.
You don't need to log into PayPal, have a PayPal account or create one. You simply follow their instructions and enter your credit card details. They will simply process the card on our behalf.
Please wait for the PayPal screen to close and return to our page before closing down.

Payment by Phone
You can place your order online and select the payment by phone option. Please call in with your card payment details on 01933 622654 so we can process your order. After 2 working days your order will be automatically cancelled.

Returns

DO NOT RETURN ANYTHING UNTIL YOU HAVE CONTACTED US FIRST
If the item is unsuitable (wrong scale etc) please do not break the seal or open the packaging as we cannot then re-sell the item.
If you wish to return anything then please let us know within 7 days of receipt, informing us as to the reason for return and we will advise accordingly. (In reality we bend over backwards for our customers and will always be as flexible as we can).
If the order containing the item was UK and "free delivery" then if the return / credit value brings the order value under the £35 free delivery level then the delivery charge will be deducted from the credited value.
PLEASE NEVER EVER SEND ANY BOXED ITEM BACK TO US IN A JIFFY / PADDED ENVELOPE AS IT WILL BE CRUSHED AND USELESS.

  • Are the second-hand models you list complete?
    All secondhand kits are guaranteed complete and unstarted unless stated otherwise. Please check the item details for more information.
  • If I Place A Order When Will It Be Shipped?
    For UK orders they are shipped the next working day. For Overseas orders it may take a day longer.
  • Do You Have A Printed Catalogue?
    We dont have a printed one as many of our items are unique and it would be out of date as soon as its printed. All of our stock is shown on the website and is with 'live' stock quantities in our online shop.
  • Are You A Shop and Open To The Public?
    No we are not open to the public but customers are welcome to collect their orders placed online or by phone. They will be ready for collection the next working day but please call first or advise if you would like to collect your order the same day or first thing the following morning
  • Exchange Rates
    If you pay via creidt card we charge your card in UK Pounds, the exchange rate is dependant on your card issuers rate. An accurate guide is avaiable at www.xe.com for all major currencies.
  • Overseas Postage Rates.
    We charge overseas postage at about cost and it is based on weight, a charge table can be found on our website in the "Postage Costs" page. On placing your order we will advise you of the postage costs for you to accept or not.
  • I Have Changed My E-mail address.
    Just log into your account with your old e-mail address and then got to "View or change my account information" and change to your new e-mail address. There is no need to create a new account which would loose you any discount you had built
  • Channel Islands Orders / VAT Free
    Please select your country as "Channel Islands" not the UK for VAT to be removed during checkout.
  • Can You Get.....?
    Sorry but we are unable to source old individual kits, there is no "magic place" we can get old kits. We just have to take what comes our way. Over a year we list many thousands of kits of all types and rarities, some only last a matter of hours on our website so if you are looking for something in particular please check the site every now and again. We add preowned kits as a rule late at night. New kits are added as delivered.
  • Can You Tell Me When You Get........?
    Unfortunately we are unable to advise customers when individual items come into stock, instead we maintain a "live" website with exactly what we have on our shelves listed so please check every now and again if you cannot find what you are looking for at present.
  • Why Can I Not Login To My Account?
    Please believe us that with a e-mail address that was used when you created your account you will be able to log in. If you are still having difficulties please e-mail us with your full name and e-mail address and we will check for you.
  • Do You Buy Collections / Shop Stock?
    Yes, we do but usually only in larger quantities (100+ kits) or particulary rare items. Please send us a list / photos if possible and a estimate as to how much you would like for them and we will get back to you.
  • You never replied to my e-mail, why?
    We reply to every e-mail we receive about orders or any transaction with us, and every e-mail requesting help from non customers as long as polite that contains "Hi, Please Or Thank You". Please allow us 1 to 2 working days to reply. Everyday e-mails we reply to are returned with "no user here" etc. Please ensure your "reply to" or entered e-mail address is correct otherwise our mails will not reach you.
  • Do You Combine Multiple Orders To Save Postage?
    If your order has been advised as despatched we cannot combine with later orders. If your order is un-despatched:
    UK orders whenever possible we do combine them to save delivery costs unless different cards / payment methods are used then treated as seperate orders. Please mention that you wish us to combine them on your later order.

    Overseas orders are never combined unless you advise us to do so due to the different customs laws in various countries meaning higher order values can incure charges. If you do not mention it in the order comments box of your later order we DO NOT combine them.
  • I Dont Want To Enter My Card Details Online, What Can I Do?
    You do not need to enter you card details online if you do not want to (although our server is secure with a 128bit encryption). Just place your order as normal and select "Payment by Phone" as the payment method and you then have 2 working days to call us with the details and please have your order number at hand.
  • Do You Ship Worldwide?
    Will will be shipping overseas shortly.
  • Can I Order Over The Phone?
    Yes you can on +44(0)1933 622654 though we do prefer our overseas customers to order online to ensure accurate addresses and no translation problems. Please note that loyalty discounts are not available on telephone orders as calculated on the website.
  • I Am Never At Home To Sign For A Parcel, What Can I Do?
    You can have your order delivered to a work address or request your parcel to be left in a safe place eg neighbour or porch, in the order comments. You can add different delivery addresses in your account.
  • How Can I Change My Order?
    Yes by e-mail or by placing another order if you are adding. But only if the order has not been despatched and as long as the e-mail is from the same address on the order. We will then amend your order as requested. If you wish to add to your order it is easiest just to add a new order and we will combine them for you but you must mention the order number of the first order in the second order.
  • Will I Have To Pay Any Import Taxes / Duties On Delivery?
    This we cannot answer and is totaly oustide our control as differs from country to country outside the EU, some have none, some have reasonable charges and coutries like Brazil have very high charges. You need to check with your local customs dept and this information is usualy available on their websites.
  • Will You Alter Customs Declared Values To Reduce Import / Tax Charges?
    We will never falsely declare parcel values, please do not ask us to as we have had too many problems in the past. The value declared will be the cost of the goods minus VAT and any loyalty discount. Postage is declared seperately and some countries include this in their calculations and some do not. Please check with your local customs dept if unsure.
  • I Have Changed My Mind, How Do I Cancel My Order?
    By either e-mailing us or by telephone and we will do this as long as your order has not been despatched. If it has been despatched and wish to cancel then please see the "Returns" information.
  • Can I Collect From Your Premises?
    Yes you can, please place your order online and select "Collecting Goods" and in the order comments box just say when you would like to collect and we will have your order ready for you. You can pay online or when you collect if you wish.

Plastic Model Kits Wanted

We will pay very good rates and collect anywhere in the UK on larger quantities of pre-owned kits also at evenings and weekends
(Corgi Aviation Archive also wanted).
Profiles like Squadron / Signal, Osprey, In Detail & Scale etc wanted

(Unfortunately due to costs we do not purchase odd one or two items)

Values are based on condition and also models / items concerned. Unlike others we do not cherry pick the best items and take the good with the bad.

Please either send us either a list or pictures of the items you wish to sell.
We do not need pictures of individual kits but of the "piles", box end on and we can see everything we need from that.
Please also include your location in the email.

All model kit brands are of interest from Airfix, Revell, Tamiya, Hasegawa, Dragon etc etc
Even though plastic model kits may be old this does not mean they are valuable. For example in the 60s many model kits were produced in the 100,000s, and often 80/90s examples are more valuable as this was a period when model kit building was at a all time low and so fewer kits were produced.
Unbelievable as it may seem its not unusual for us to get collections into the thousands of kits, our largest to date was around 9000 kits from one house and
two garages in Battersea. Second at about 7000 was 5 miles down the road in Burton Latimer.
On larger collections we will collect from anywhere on the UK mainland.
On house clearances we always return any personal or not model items found, its surprising the amount of people who put items in model kit boxes for safe keeping.
We are a professional organisation and act accordingly especially when collections are due to a family bereavement and treat possesions with care and respect. Unlike others we do not just "throw" them in a van.
Payments are made by either cash, paypal or cheque and on larger collections usually a mixture. When dealing with shop or company clearances payment by bank transfer is usually made.
We usually can collect in 24 hours if required. Or you are more than welcome to bring them to us, we are a business so during working hours.
We often are offered model / military related magazines, unfortunately they have very little value and are happy to take magazine rather than them ending up in the bin.
