Used for painting Luftwaffe aircraft interior surfaces from around 1935 until the end of World War II (according to official regulations, replaced in this role by RLM 66 in the summer of 1944).
Overall color of Luftwaffe combat aircraft in 1935-1936 and trainers (seen in this finish even in the mid-war period). Also used as upper surface camouflage color of Luftwaffe fighters and heavy fighters from the late 1939 until ca. mid-1941, afterwards its role as a camouflage color was limited to mottling. A fair match to BS381C/389 Camouflage Beige (Hemp) used for painting upper surfaces of RAF Nimrod patrol aircraft, Canberra PR.9 recon aircraft, Victor and VC10 tankers from the 1980s until their withdrawal from service.
High quality lacquer based paint with a chemical formula superior to other brands in the market.
The Military Range covers both the aircraft and AFV colors from the 1930s to the present day. Many of them are referenced to the RAL, Federal Standard or British Standard color systems, whilst the others are based on the period color samples or reproduced original formulas.
Flows smoothly in an airbrush; adheres to the surface and dries perfectly with a soft finish. Holds firmly all kind of weathering products.
May be diluted with RC701/RC702 High Compatibility Thinner or other thinners intended for lacquer based paints.
