Raunds
is a small village in Northamtonshire, about 15 mins from the A1 and
5 Mins from A14 Jct 13.
If you are trying to find us using Sat Nav we are not listed unless
you have a recent postcode download. Instead use NN9 6JE and look for
the big green and white building, we are in the middle unit.

About
Us:
The
online business started in 2000 and has steadily grown since, the business
like most others, started from a hobby and a frustration in not being able
to find items easily.
The
hobby from which the business started was the collecting of old Airfix items,
not much of a theme to the collection apart from items from childhood memories.
Collecting started about 1987 when after selling / swapping all of the childhood
toys for the latest Duran Duran album etc a need arose to obtain these back
again. At first this was relatively easy but then became very hard, mainly
due to most of these items having no perceived value and being long since
thrown away. Then along came ebay and life collecting was easy again as everything
seems to turn up there in the end (although lately at a top price).
I
decided like most others to set up a website about my hobby, Airfix collecting
(www.airfixcollector.co.uk) and sold the odd un-required item. This soon mushroomed
into larger quantities and modelsforsale.com as you see today.
All
of our stock is stored and shipped from our shop / warehouse in Raunds Northants
although the shop is not quite up and running yet you are more than welcome.to
come and collect orders placed / reserved via the net or ordered by phone.
We
believe we offer our customers a good choice at reasonable prices and excellent
customer care and are only to glad to help with any problems our customers
have.
